This project involved a full refurbishment of an existing staircase, transforming it into a clean, modern oak finish. The original staircase was cladded in oak, we then added new oak handrails and spindles to complete the look. Delivering a high-quality finish that complements the space.

This project involved stripping and sanding down the existing oak staircase to remove any old varnish or paint, followed by repairing any damaged treads or balustrades, and finally re-staining and sealing the wood to restore its natural color and protect it from future wear and tear. The project has been carried out by Boradhead Joinery in Wakefield using high-quality materials and equipment, ensuring that the final result is both visually appealing and structurally sound.

This is another one of our bespoke understairs storage projects from earlier on in the year at a new housing development in Wakefield for an interior design company based in Ossett.

This particular design included a door with a pullout clothes rail & a deep 650mm shoe drawer both with soft close mechanisms & push to open features to keep the face of the unit free of handles for a sleek and modern design sprayed in white Matt.

These have turned out to be very popular for us and we are inundated with requests and orders accross the region.
